Dog Training is for the Birds

It may in fact be easier to train a bird, depending on the species, than it is to train your pet dog.

They are man’s best friend, nonetheless, and the most eager to please. If you begin early they are usually the most willing participants.

One breed does not equal another, as we all know, and breeding must be taken into account. If you insist on making your herd animal a lap dog, not only could it prove difficult, it does not take into account the dog’s nature and could actually be construed as a form of torture.

That said, we’ll begin with herding breeds and move along steadily until we cover most of the better known breeds.
